Job summary

Accor is seeking a Revenue Auditor to join our UAE finance team. You will verify daily revenue across departments, reconcile POS/PMS reports, and support cost-control initiatives to optimize profitability. This role requires hospitality industry awareness and strong data accuracy.

Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, ensuring proper accounting entries, and collaborating with department managers to provide insights. A CPA/CMA is preferred; UAE regulatory knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA/CMA certification preferred.
• 1–2 years in auditing or accounting, hospitality preferred.
• Familiar with hotel revenue processes and systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Auditing

• Verify and reconcile daily revenue transactions from all departments (e.g., rooms, F&B, spa)
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to management and department heads
• Review and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) and Property Management System (PMS) reports with supporting documentation
• Verify that cash, credit card, and bank deposits align with system reports.

Cost Control

• Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies and policies.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and report variances promptly.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses on potential projects and recommend financial feasibility.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately posted in accounting software.
• Maintain proper and organized documentation for audits and reference.

Compliance & Collaboration

• Collaborate with department managers to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Communicate effective with management and other team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an auditing or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with hotel revenue processes and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards is a plus
