Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking an experienced Income Auditor to ensure accurate posting of all transactions and to maintain rigorous revenue controls. You will reconcile daily revenue and support records, review cash and card transactions, and assist with month-end closure.

Ideal candidates bring hotel revenue accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset to support audits and internal controls across Finance and management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Income Audit or Night Audit roles in a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Understanding of hotel revenue accounting and internal controls.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Verify that all transactions are accurately posted to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile daily revenue against PMS, POS, payment systems, and supporting documents.
• Review cash, credit card, bank, and other payment transactions for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between revenue reports and supporting records.
• Verify room rates, discounts, complimentary rooms, voids, rebates, refunds, and allowances.
• Check that all revenue transactions comply with the hotel's policies and internal controls.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and income audit reports to Finance and management.
• Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of credit card settlements and accounts receivable.
• Review cashier reports and ensure all cash and credit card balances are properly accounted for.
• Monitor unusual transactions, variances, or irregularities and report them to the appropriate management.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including revenue reconciliation and accruals where required.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and guest information.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue controls, reporting accuracy, and operational procedures.
