Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking an Inclusive Learning Manager for a renowned UAE university. The role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to support students with disabilities, promoting an inclusive, accessible campus and advocating for equity in education.

The position collaborates with university staff and external partners to enhance services, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with accessibility regulations while developing KPIs to measure success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Certification or license in psychology preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in psychology or counseling, with at least 5 years working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to support students with disabilities.
• Lead initiatives to promote inclusivity and accessibility on campus.
• Oversee services such as academic accommodations, personal support, and assistive technology.
• Facilitate orientation for new students with disabilities.
• Advocate for students with disabilities and ensure their needs are addressed.
• Build relationships with university departments to ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with external organizations and community stakeholders.
• Organize workshops and events to raise awareness about disability issues.
• Manage the budget for the Centre including sourcing and managing grants.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility regulations and prepare reports on the Centre's activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services and develop KPIs for measuring success.
