Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that support inclusive learning and strong student achievement
- Plan, prepare, and present sessions that meet the needs of students across different ability levels
- Organise classroom resources and displays to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Observe and assess students in line with school assessment systems and identify support needs
- Use Target Tracker and performance data to guide planning, provision, and intervention
- Work collaboratively with teachers, curriculum support staff, and specialist professionals
- Meet with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when required
- Provide feedback to parents and carers during Parent Teacher Conferences and school meetings
- Follow school behaviour policies and maintain positive classroom management practices
- Support curriculum action groups, extracurricular activities, and weekly ECA programmes
- Promote student independence, confidence, and strong social development through inclusive teaching strategies
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience within a school environment
- Previous experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and whole-child development
- Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus
- Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
- Positive and solution-focused mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required
