Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that support inclusive learning and strong student achievement
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions that meet the needs of students across different ability levels
• Organise classroom resources and displays to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Observe and assess students in line with school assessment systems and identify support needs
• Use Target Tracker and performance data to guide planning, provision, and intervention
• Work collaboratively with teachers, curriculum support staff, and specialist professionals
• Meet with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when required
• Provide feedback to parents and carers during Parent Teacher Conferences and school meetings
• Follow school behaviour policies and maintain positive classroom management practices
• Support curriculum action groups, extracurricular activities, and weekly ECA programmes
• Promote student independence, confidence, and strong social development through inclusive teaching strategies

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience within a school environment
• Previous experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and whole-child development
• Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Positive and solution-focused mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required
