Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that support inclusive learning and strong student achievement.
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions for students across ability levels.
• Organise classroom resources and displays to support learning.
• Observe and assess students and identify support needs.
• Use Target Tracker and data to guide planning and intervention.
• Collaborate with teachers, curriculum support staff, and specialists.
• Meet with therapists and educational psychologists when required.
• Provide feedback to parents during conferences and meetings.
• Follow behaviour policies and maintain positive classroom management.
• Support curriculum action groups and weekly ECA programmes.
• Promote independence, confidence and social development through inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience within a school environment
• Previous experience working with students where English is not their first language is preferred
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and whole-child development
• Professional attitude with strong safeguarding awareness and student well-being focus
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Positive and solution-focused mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Valid enhanced DBS check or police clearance required
