Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our In Room Dining team. Based at the luxury Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, you will serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and gracious manner, upholding MOHG standards and delivering WOW moments.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service, a team spirit, and can work long hours in a high-volume luxury setting. A High School qualification or hospitality degree is preferred, with prior waiter/waitress experience

Qualifications

• Strong guest service skills and ability to understand guest needs.
• Willingness to work long hours in a luxury hotel environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with a calm and professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS and cashiering procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain menu and In Room Dining offerings to guests.
• Maintain mise en place and cleanliness before and during service.
• Process orders using the POS system and handle guest requests.
• Deliver service with a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
• Upsell services and products to guests to enhance experience and revenue.
• Ensure dishes are presented to hotel standards and specifications.
