Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie for the In Room Dining Kitchen to join a luxury hotel team. You will support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen duties, ensuring timely production of dishes that meet quality and safety standards.

You will manage mise en place, plating, stock checks, and hygiene, working with peers during busy services and contributing to MOHG our Legendary Quality Experiences.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Verbal and written communication skills in Arabic or other languages are preferred.
• Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a high-volume hotel or restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily duties and supervise during absence.
• Prepare ingredients, wash/peel, and ensure mise en place meets high-quality standards.
• Follow plating guides and maintain food safety and hygiene.
• Manage stock checks, inventory, and proper storage of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, tools, and kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with team; support other outlets and attend required trainings.
