Job summary

The Luxury Collection in Ajman, United Arab Emirates is seeking a full-time, non-management cook or chef to prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards. You will regulate oven temperatures, maintain food logs, and ensure timely assistance during busy periods while supporting the Chef and F&B team.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items to ensure quality and presentation.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to maintain safety and standards.
• Pull food from storage and thawing areas as needed for menu items.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared dishes.
• Communicate with team to assist during peak periods and inform Chef of excess inventory.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
