Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group in Dubai-headquartered in-house legal team seeks a dedicated Paralegal to join its Dubai-based office. The role supports the General Counsel by managing contract administration, corporate secretarial records, licensing compliance, and department operations across multiple international jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law or a paralegal qualification, with 2–4 years of UAE experience, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or paralegal qualification.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally in-house or at a law firm within the UAE.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of UAE corporate and commercial processes (DED/DET, free zones, notary, attestation).

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract intake, prepare first drafts from approved templates, handle execution, and maintain the contract repository.
  • Maintain the group entity compliance tracker and statutory registers across multiple jurisdictions (UAE, Spain, Italy, UK, Singapore, BVI, Jersey, etc.).
  • Track statutory deadlines including financial statement filings, AGMs, licence and registration renewals.
  • Maintain venue licensing trackers and support trademark portfolio administration with external IP counsel.
  • Log litigation and disputes, compile evidence bundles, and coordinate document requests with external law firms.
