Job summary

Fortis in Dubai, UAE, is hiring a Paralegal to support the General Counsel in managing contracts, compliance, and legal operations. The role focuses on contract lifecycles, document issuance via e-signature platforms, and coordinating with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to enable business growth.

The ideal candidate has a law degree and 6+ months of paralegal experience, with English fluency and familiarity with UAE corporate compliance. LPC/SQE qualifications are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law or related legal field.
• 6+ months paralegal experience is a strong advantage.
• LPC or SQE qualification is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE corporate compliance and Fintech/payments industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and proofread commercial agreements (SaaS, NDAs, vendor agreements) and maintain the contract repository.
• Manage document issuance via e-signature platforms (DocuSign).
• Assist with UAE corporate filings, license renewals, and drafting of corporate resolutions/minutes.
• Act as a liaison between the Legal department and internal teams (Sales, Finance, HR).
