Role Context

The IGCSE Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for facilitating high‑quality Mathematics teaching and learning within an international curriculum environment. The role includes preparing schemes of work, designing assessment tasks, developing daily and weekly lesson plans, managing class teacher responsibilities, and supporting students in building strong mathematical understanding. Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to IGCSE students and prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
• Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and curriculum‑aligned Mathematics lessons.
• Prepare schemes of work, yearly assessment plans, daily lesson plans, weekly lesson plans, and classroom resources.
• Design assessment tasks that measure student understanding, mathematical fluency, problem‑solving ability, and exam readiness.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
• Promote active learning, higher order thinking, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Support students in developing confidence in mathematical concepts, calculations, applications, and exam techniques.
• Manage class teacher responsibilities with a focus on student progress, discipline, knowledge enrichment, and academic support.
• Contribute to raising classroom teaching standards and improving student learning outcomes.
• Use IT tools, digital resources, and interactive teaching methods to enhance Mathematics learning.
