Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking an experienced ID Hospitality and Special Projects Manager to lead the design studio across architecture, MEP and interiors. You will guide senior and junior designers, coordinate with external consultants, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design packages in line with brand standards.

• Oversee material FF&E strategy and budget coordination.
• Ensure on-site supervision and delivery within schedule milestones.
• Collaborate with Architects/Engineers and consultants to align plans.
• Manage resources and project schedules effectively.

As aID Hospitality and Special Projects Managerreporting into the Head of Interior Design working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai you will have the opportunity to manage a team of senior and junior architects BIM operators manage coordination quality control of overall architectural technical design packages and ensuring successful final delivery within scheduled milestones as per Azizi Developments standards and requirements.

Role Description:

ID Hospitality and Special Projects Manager must be able to manage the project during all phases of the work. Strong creative thinker with the ability to lead the creative process and develop intelligent thoughtful and considered design. Good understanding of the construction process working with consultant teams and leading your design team through concept and developed design processes. Ability to communicate design ideas visually and verbally within the studio and externally have excellent English language skills both written and verbal. Ability to work on ID Strategies at all design stages. Ability to provide alternative solutions to match the customer needs the site & business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Strong leader with experience of managing senior/lead middleweight and junior designers.

Working closely with ID Technical Manager and technicians.

Great organizational skills grasp of detail and the ability to think ahead program workflow and manage your team while helping them grow.

Develop strong professional relationships with internal and external teams.

Manage the preparation of the material and FF&E overall concept direction and vision for the ID projects in accordance to the Brand Standards/Guidelines.

Sourcing products fittings obtaining costs and coordinating budgets.

Surveying the project where required to be able to layout the space.

Supervising quality at the design and delivery stage and on-site when required for the project.

Oversee the architectural design and construction efforts.

Work with Architects/Engineers and other external consultants to coordinate design details with construction plans.

Manage materials and costs to ensure that projects stay within budget guidelines.

Providing guidance to the ID team and the outside disciplines on the materiality/FF&E strategy.

Assisting in reviewing commenting and finalizing physical samples at every stage of the project.

Collaboration and coordination with other disciplines as required per each design stage.

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Able to manage and allocate necessary resources based on project schedules.
