Job summary

The Luxury Collection on Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street in Ajman is seeking a Food & Beverage Hygiene & Safety Manager to ensure operations comply with hygiene and safety standards. You will train new hires, monitor risk areas, and provide technical labeling guidance to meet government requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting kitchen inspections, coordinating cleaning programs, and liaising with health authorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of F&B, culinary, or related experience.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 2 years of F&B experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies compliance with Brand Standard Audit (BSA) requirements of Marriott International throughout operations.
• Advises and monitors food handlers on proper handling practices and verifies observance.
• Identifies key risk areas in various food operations and takes remedial action.
• Verifies compliance with food and hygiene regulations, licensing and codes of practice related to food operations.
• Provides technical advice on product labeling to meet government requirements.
• Provides in-house food hygiene training for new hires and trainees.
• Handles customer inquiries and local health department matters on food hygiene.
• Conducts daily kitchen inspections and records findings with corrective action plans.
• Coordinates cleaning programs in all F&B areas and suggests improvements.
• Establishes open relationships with employees and liaises with pest control for issues.
