Job summary

Sun Power-Gen (Engineering) is seeking a motivated Hydraulics Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across the UAE. The role combines hydraulic system expertise with commercial acumen to identify opportunities, present solutions, and meet targets.

The candidate will manage OEMs, contractors, industrial clients, distributors, and end users, conducting visits, demonstrations, and quotations while coordinating with engineering and procurement for timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years experience in hydraulic equipment or related technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, HPUs, filtration, hose fittings, and mobile/industrial hydraulics.
• Experience in UAE or GCC market preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise in hydraulic systems with strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities, provide engineering solutions, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for hydraulic products, systems, and services.
• Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, contractors, industrial clients, distributors, and end users.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable hydraulic solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, tenders, and proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Provide technical support during product selection, installation, and commissioning stages.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in hydraulic equipment, fluid power systems, industrial automation, or related technical sales.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Hydraulic pumps
  • Hydraulic cylinders
  • Hydraulic valves
  • Hydraulic power units (HPUs)
  • Filtration systems
  • Hose and fittings
  • Mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
• Experience in the UAE or GCC market is preferred.
