Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies leader, is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to provide swift, accurate technical support for refrigeration and cold chain solutions across the MEA region.

You will assist with product selection, system design queries and software calculations, train customers on controllers and components, and manage warranty cases to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8–10 years experience in HVACR design, service, or training with refrigeration focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide swift accurate technical support to customers including distributors, contractors, and OEMs for refrigeration and cold chain solutions.
• Assist customers with product selection, software heat load calculations, refrigerant line sizing, electrical component selection, and system design queries.
• Support the transition of customers from semi-hermetic to scroll compressor technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical libraries, application bulletins, catalogs, user manuals and cross-reference documents.
• Engage customers on alternate refrigerants and explore new regional applications.
• Lead New Business Opportunities for refrigeration products in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Deliver technical training sessions for customers on controllers, protections and components used in refrigeration systems.
• Manage warranty claims related to refrigeration products and perform root cause analysis.
