Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi is seeking an HVAC Technician to join the Engineering team. You will maintain, repair, and monitor HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and guest comfort within the hotel.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will participate in preventative maintenance programs, respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing hotel operations while upholding Rosewood standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining HVAC, mechanical, or building systems in hotels or similar environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive maintenance approach.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and workplace safety practices.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems and mobile devices.
• Fluent in English and able to collaborate effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and monitor HVAC systems and related equipment for safety and guest comfort.
• Deliver preventative maintenance programs and respond to maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Take operational readings and maintain maintenance records and logbooks.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and hotel safety standards.
• Support the Engineering team through clear communication and teamwork.
