Job summary

Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated A/C Technician to install, service and repair temperature and air quality control systems across our properties.

You will repair and maintain all refrigeration and HVAC equipment, perform preventive maintenance, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards in line with country regulations.

Collaborating with the engineering team, you will respond to maintenance requests and help keep guest comfort at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and maintaining refrigeration systems in a hotel setting.
• Proficient in servicing air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems in the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Check performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Verify door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Maintain defrosting systems and ice-maker automation.
• Handle maintenance requests from all departments.
• Clean fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Coordinate with Engineering Storekeeper on parts purchases.
• Follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
