We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician with strong hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial, residential, and high-rise buildings.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of AHU, FAHU, FCU, Package Units, VRF/VRV, chilled-water systems, BMS, VFD, refrigeration systems, and district cooling.
Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot AHU, FAHU, FCU, Package Units, and VRF/VRV systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Monitor equipment performance and identify abnormalities or potential failures.
Monitor supply/return temperature, CFM, static pressure, filter DP, CHW flow, valve position, fan/motor, VFD, and BMS parameters.
Troubleshoot cooling and airflow issues by systematically checking filters, CFM, coils, CHW, valves, actuators, sensors, and BMS.
Troubleshoot VRF/VRV systems, including outdoor/indoor units, inverter compressors, refrigerant piping, EEVs, PCBs, sensors, communication wiring, and controllers.
Maintain and troubleshoot package units, including compressors, condenser/evaporator coils, fans, and expansion devices.
Diagnose refrigeration and compressor faults using pressure, temperature, voltage, current, winding, insulation, oil, refrigerant, and mechanical checks.
Identify the root cause of compressor failure before recommending replacement.
Carry out compressor replacement, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing, vacuuming, charging, testing, and commissioning when required.
Monitor CHW supply/return temperature, flow, ΔT, differential pressure, valves, and PICV.
Support chilled-water balancing to ensure proper flow distribution to AHUs and FCUs.
Maintain and troubleshoot district cooling components, including ETS, heat exchangers, CHW pumps, control valves, BTU meters, and flow meters.
Monitor HVAC equipment through BMS and respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
Understand basic BMS functions including monitoring, control, alarm, trend, and scheduling.
Operate and troubleshoot VFDs used for AHU fans, exhaust fans, and chilled-water pumps.
Understand basic control signals including 0–10 V, ON/OFF, floating control, and feedback.
Perform basic electrical checks on HVAC equipment, including voltage, current, phase sequence, overload, contactor, and motor condition.
Understand basic three-phase motor starter arrangements and HVAC control circuits.
Monitor temperature, relative humidity, CO₂, PM2.5, PM10, VOC, and fresh-air quantity.
Ensure filters, ventilation, and fresh-air systems operate effectively.
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and attend equipment breakdowns promptly.
Maintain maintenance records and report recurring or critical equipment issues.
Follow all company and site HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
ITI / Diploma / Technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HVAC experience preferred.
Strong hands-on experience in HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance.
High-rise building experience is preferred.
UAE/GCC experience will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of HVAC mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of an MEP team.
