Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage the complete procurement cycle, from PRs reception to vendor sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, logistics coordination and final delivery. The role requires HVAC procurement experience and strong vendor management to source materials internationally and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders.

• Experience in procurement within HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Strong vendor network and supply chain awareness.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and achieve cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review PRs from project service and other departments.
• Identify local and international suppliers based on technical requirements, quality, price and delivery timelines.
• Source materials, equipment, spare parts and services from vendors.
• Obtain and compare quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and warranty with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and ensure on-time placement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for shipping documents and delivery.
• Track shipments and ensure materials reach project deadlines.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, POs and delivery tracking.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network locally and internationally.
• Evaluate supplier performance on cost, quality, responsiveness and delivery.
• Support cost reduction and value-engineering through sourcing and negotiation.
