Job summary

You will develop supplier strategies, source and evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, monitor progress, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven procurement experience in mechanical components and equipment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies for mechanical components and equipment based on project requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for mechanical materials and equipment.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and track the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mechanical procurement.
