Job summary

GCG Engineering Services in the United Arab Emirates seeks an HVAC Helper to assist installation, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems on construction sites. You will support ducting, piping, FCU/AHU/VRF/VRV units, and related equipment while helping with material handling and site readiness.

The role requires 1–2 years of MEP helper experience, basic HVAC knowledge, and a readiness to learn under skilled technicians. Outdoor work is involved with potential overtime based on deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as an MEP Helper / HVAC Helper in construction or MEP projects.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP installation activities preferred.
• Experience on Oil & Gas HVAC projects is an advantage.
• Ability to handle physical work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Willingness to learn and support skilled technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and MEP teams in installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Support installation of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, FCU, AHU, VRF/VRV systems, and related equipment.
• Carry out basic support works such as lifting, shifting, and arranging HVAC materials and tools.
• Assist in duct fabrication, insulation works, pipe fitting, and equipment installation activities.
• Perform loading, unloading, and transportation of materials at the project site.
• Provide support during equipment alignment, fixing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians to complete assigned tasks.
