Job summary

Alfiras General Contracting - L.L.C is seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead installation teams on civil construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will read and interpret HVAC drawings, supervise technicians and helpers, and ensure work aligns with approved plans and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years UAE experience in villas, apartments, and commercial buildings, strong HVAC knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across civil, electrical, plumbing, and QA/QC groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years UAE experience in civil construction is mandatory.
• Proven HVAC foreman experience in villas, apartments, and residential/commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems: ducting, piping, insulation, equipment and ventilation.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and supervise installation teams with engineers.
• ITI/Diploma in HVAC or relevant qualification preferred.
• Immediate joiners or short notice period candidates preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC installation works at civil construction sites including villas, apartments, and residential commercial buildings
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and layouts to ensure installation is carried out according to approved plans and project specifications
• Manage HVAC technicians, ductmen, and helpers, allocate tasks, and monitor work progress to meet project deadlines
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, and QA QC teams to ensure installation quality inspection requirements and compliance with UAE regulations
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and maintain daily progress reports, material records, inspection documentation, and testing and commissioning records

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of UAE experience in the civil construction industry is mandatory
• Proven experience as an HVAC Foreman in building construction projects, preferably villas, apartments, and residential/commercial buildings
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including ducting, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, insulation, air-conditioning equipment, and ventilation systems
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and supervise installation teams while coordinating with engineers and other site departments
• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification is preferred
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be given preference
