Job summary

Serve Point Energy is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Documentation Engineer to prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation for TAB, commissioning activities, and project quality requirements in the UAE.

Responsibilities include creating method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, PQ documents, and drafting comprehensive HVAC reports while coordinating with QA/QC and site engineers to ensure timely submissions and compliance with drawings and consultant comments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and Testing & Commissioning activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC air balancing, chilled water balancing, and equipment testing is an advantage.
• Good technical writing, documentation, and report preparation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF editing tools.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and consultant comments.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates with previous experience in HVAC documentation, MEP QA/QC documentation, or Testing & Commissioning documentation will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Method Statements for HVAC Testing & Commissioning activities, including air balancing, chilled water balancing, and equipment testing.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for HVAC Testing & Commissioning works.
• Prepare Risk Assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents for HVAC activities.
• Prepare company Pre-Qualification (PQ) Documents, including technical capabilities, manpower details, equipment lists, certifications, and company profiles.
• Review and respond to consultant comments on method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, and other technical submissions.
• Prepare and compile HVAC Testing & Commissioning reports, including air balancing, water balancing, equipment performance testing, and environmental testing reports.
• Prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ventilation fans, pressurization fans, chillers, and other HVAC systems.
• Maintain proper documentation records and ensure timely submission of documents to consultants and clients.
• Coordinate with site engineers and the QA/QC team to collect the technical information required for documentation.
• Revise and update documents based on project specifications, approved drawings, and consultant feedback.
• Ensure all technical submissions are properly formatted, accurate, and submitted within project deadlines.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent HVAC Documentation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation related to HVAC Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB), Testing & Commissioning activities, and project quality requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of HVAC systems and good technical writing skills to prepare project documentation in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
