Job summary

Fatherson International is seeking an experienced HVAC BIM Modeler in Dubai to develop accurate 3D BIM models and detailed HVAC drawings for building projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BIM coordination, and MEP construction practices, with 2–5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. On-site collaboration with project teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, MEP, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC BIM Modeler.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed HVAC BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare HVAC layouts, shop drawings, and construction drawings.
• Model ductwork, piping, AHUs, VAVs, diffusers, and related equipment.
• Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire services.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and coordination tools.
• Review consultant drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare sections, details, schedules, and BIM documentation.
• Update BIM models based on site conditions and design changes.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams; ensure BIM conformance.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC BIM Modeler responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models and detailed HVAC drawings for building construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BIM coordination, and MEP construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed HVAC BIM models using Revit MEP.
  
• Prepare HVAC layouts, shop drawings, and construction drawings.
  
• Model ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, diffusers, grilles, and other HVAC equipment .
  
• Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting services.
  
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and other coordination tools.
  
• Review consultant drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  
• Prepare sections, details, schedules, and BIM documentation.
  
• Update BIM models based on site conditions, design changes, and consultant comments.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers, draftsmen, consultants, and project teams.
  
• Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM requirements.
  
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and BIM models upon project completion.
  
• Maintain proper BIM standards, naming conventions, families, and model accuracy.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, MEP, or a related field .
  
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC BIM Modeler.
  
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP .
  
• Good knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination .
  
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and MEP construction practices.
  
• Experience in preparing HVAC shop drawings and coordinated BIM models.
  
• Ability to understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  
• High-rise building and UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
• Ability to work under project deadlines and handle multiple drawings/models.
