Job summary

Albatha Group seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day HV cable project execution, focusing on 132kV and above. You will coordinate site activities, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-schedule delivery in line with quality and technical standards.

The role requires 5–8 years in HV cable projects and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of HV power cable project experience, preferably involving 132kV+.
• Hands-on HV cable installation, laying, pulling, jointing, termination, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with utility or power transmission projects preferred.
• Experience with DEWA, SEWA, FEWA or similar utility projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of site execution, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Proven ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, equipment and resources.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities for HV cable installation projects, including 132kV and above.
• Coordinate cable laying, pulling, jointing, termination, testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage site manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, quality and resource requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings and risk assessments.
• Identify and resolve site issues and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare and review daily progress reports, site records and handover documentation.
• Act as the primary site contact for clients and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, project procedures and applicable standards.
