Job summary

Client of Pangea Talent Solutions is seeking an HSE Project Specialist to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance for generator systems in data centres. The role entails ensuring safe installation, testing and commissioning of large-scale generators, with collaboration across project teams, contractors and engineers to foster a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HSE experience in data centre, electrical, or industrial projects.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher), IOSH Managing Safely.
• Experience supporting generator installation, testing, and commissioning within critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, Permit-to-Work systems, and hazardous material handling related to generators.
• Excellent hazard identification, risk assessment, and communication skills.

About the Role

We are representing a leading organisation specialising in data centre development and mission-critical infrastructure. We are currently seeking a dedicated HSE Project Specialist to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance specifically related to generator systems within data centres. This role provides an exciting opportunity for experienced HSE professionals to support the safe installation, testing and commissioning of large-scale generators crucial for data centre operations. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors and engineers to promote a safety-first culture during high-risk activities associated with generator systems including electrical connections, fuel management and testing processes.

Role Overview
