Parsons in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support safe delivery of infrastructure and enabling works. You will monitor contractor compliance, conduct inspections, and drive closure of HSE actions across site activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in OSH, 10+ years HSE experience on infrastructure projects, OSHAD/ADOSH registration, and NEBOSH IGC or Level 6 Diploma in OHS, with ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or related discipline.
• OSHA registration and strong safety standards knowledge are required.
• NEBOSH IGC or higher and/or Level 6 Diploma in OHS is preferred.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine HSE inspections and audits and report findings with corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor compliance with RAMS/JSA, PTW requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Oversee high-risk works including excavations, utilities works, lifting activities, and works in active site environments.
• Support toolbox talks, inductions, and HSE awareness activities; maintain HSE records and reporting.
• Support incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with supervision teams and contractors to improve HSE performance and maintain compliance with applicable standards.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Officer to join our team! In this role you will support safe delivery of infrastructure and enabling works by monitoring contractor compliance, conducting inspections, and driving closure of HSE actions across site activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct routine HSE inspections and audits and report findings with corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor compliance with RAMS/JSA, PTW requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Oversee high-risk works including excavations, utilities works, lifting activities, and works in active site environments.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years HSE experience on infrastructure/enabling works projects.
• OSHAD/ADOSH registration.
• NEBOSH IGC (or higher) and/or Level 6 Diploma in OHS.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, particularly excavation and utilities works.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
