Job summary

Hydropower Energy And General Construction LLC in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced HSE professional to lead health, safety and environment on TAQA, DMT/ADM/AACM, ADNOC road and infrastructure projects.

You will conduct site inspections, risk assessments, incidents investigations, deliver toolbox talks, maintain HSE records, and report to client and consultants while promoting zero-incident delivery.

Qualifications

• H Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Eng with NEBOSH/IGC is required.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience on road/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/ADOSH regulations and codes.

ROLE OVERVIEW

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements on TAQA, DMT/ADM/AACM, ADNOC, road and infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, ensuring full compliance with client, ADOSH, and statutory HSE regulations.
• Key duties include conducting site inspections and audits, carrying out risk assessments and hazard identification, investigating incidents and near misses, delivering HSE inductions and toolbox talks, maintaining HSE documentation and records, and coordinating with project management to promote a strong safety culture and achieve zero-incident project delivery.
• Oversee and provide reports to the client and the project consultant in accordance with the requirements established by the client.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong HSE knowledge, sound understanding of applicable UAE/ADOSH legislation and codes of practice, and proven hands-on experience managing HSE on similar-scale road/infrastructure projects.
