Job summary

Hydropower Energy And General Construction LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to implement and monitor health, safety, and environment requirements across major road and infrastructure projects. ROLE OVERVIEW

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements on TAQA, DMT/ADM/AACM, ADNOC, road and infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, ensuring full compliance with client, ADOSH, and statutory HSE regulations.
• Key duties include conducting site inspections and audits, carrying out risk assessments and hazard identification, investigating incidents and near misses, delivering HSE inductions and toolbox talks, maintaining HSE documentation and records, and coordinating with project management to promote a strong safety culture and achieve zero-incident project delivery.
• Oversee and provide reports to the client and the project consultant in accordance with the requirements established by the client.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong HSE knowledge, sound understanding of applicable UAE/ADOSH legislation and codes of practice, and proven hands-on experience managing HSE on similar‑scale road/infrastructure projects.
