Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Manager (Marine/Ports) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead HSE management for a major ports/marine project, ensuring safe execution and full compliance with project HSE requirements across marine construction and operations.

You will drive the HSE system, oversee contractor performance, conduct incident investigations, and coordinate with leadership and stakeholders to resolve issues, delivering safe, compliant project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction or related field.
• Minimum 15 years HSE experience with strong marine/ports exposure.
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, IRCA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement project HSE management system and drive safety culture across all work fronts.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance including audits, PTW, RAMS reviews and corrective actions.
• Manage HSE risk controls for dredging, reclamation, marine construction, and port operations.

HSE Manager (Marine / Ports)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead HSE management for a major ports/marine project environment, ensuring safe execution and full compliance with project HSE requirements across marine construction and operations activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and implement the project HSE management system and drive a strong safety culture across all work fronts.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance, including audits, inspections, PTW compliance, RAMS review, and close-out of corrective actions.
• Manage HSE risk controls for marine activities including dredging/reclamation, marine construction, and port operations/infrastructure interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and requirements; prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and performance updates.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve HSE issues and maintain safe, compliant delivery.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction or a related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years relevant HSE experience, with strong marine/ports project exposure.
• Demonstrated experience in marine/port environments including dredging and reclamation, marine construction works, port infrastructure/operations, and marine/port equipment safety.
• Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, IRCA (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
