Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety management for a major marine/ports project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will drive the HSE management system, oversee contractor performance, and ensure compliance across dredging, reclamation, marine construction and port operations.

• Minimum 15 years HSE experience with marine/ports exposure.
• Experience in dredging, reclamation, marine construction and port operations.
• Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, IRCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the project HSE management system and drive a strong safety culture across all work fronts.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance, including audits, inspections, PTW compliance, RAMS review, and close-out of corrective actions.
• Manage HSE risk controls for marine activities including dredging/reclamation, marine construction, and port operations/infrastructure interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and requirements; prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and performance updates.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve HSE issues and maintain safe, compliant delivery.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead HSE management for a major ports/marine project environment, ensuring safe execution and full compliance with project HSE requirements across marine construction and operations activities.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
