Job summary

Techie Vaibhav in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified HSE Officer to oversee Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across telecom and power sites. You will ensure adherence to UAE HSE regulations, client requirements and company policies, promoting a safe and healthy working environment across all project locations.

The role requires 3–5 years of HSE experience, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, strong English communication, and ability to conduct inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Mandatory HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, NVQ Level 3, IOSH, OSHA.
• Familiarity with OSHAD COPs and OSHAD-SF framework is a plus.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in telecom, power, construction or utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions for site personnel and visitors.
• Perform regular HSE inspections of work areas, equipment, and methods.
• Organize and conduct Toolbox Talks and safety awareness sessions.
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards and stop unsafe acts or conditions.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate Permit-to-Work systems and fire safety measures.
• Report HSE performance to HSE Engineer or Project Management.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA / TRANSCO HSE requirements wherever applicable.
