Job summary

Techie Vaibhav is seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Engineer to lead Health, Safety and Environmental activities across telecom and power project sites in the UAE. You will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company HSE policies while fostering a strong safety culture throughout all project phases.

You will supervise HSE Officers, coordinate site safety activities, implement the Project HSE Plan, conduct audits, manage PTW systems, and report on performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Experience in Telecom, Power, Utilities, Oil & Gas, or Infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience working with TAQA / TRANSCO or similar utility authorities.
• Strong exposure to construction, installation, and commissioning environments.
• Fluent understanding of UAE HSE regulations and OSHAD-SF framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and coordinate all HSE activities across assigned project sites.
• Supervise and guide HSE Officers to ensure compliance with project safety requirements.
• Ensure implementation and continuous update of the Project HSE Plan.
• Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and performance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA / TRANSCO HSE standards, SSR, and UAE regulations.
• Identify non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; ensure proper reporting and root cause analysis.
• Compile and submit monthly HSE reports covering performance, audits, and key metrics.
• Ensure all HSE documentation, registers, and records are maintained (incident logs, lifting equipment, scaffolding, etc.).
• Plan and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and high-risk activities.
• Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and awareness programs.
• Coordinate with project management, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
• Ensure proper allocation of HSE resources based on project activities.
• Promote continuous improvement in HSE performance and safety culture across sites.
