Job summary

Basatin Landscaping SPLLC is seeking a qualified HSE professional to lead health, safety and environmental programs on our projects in the UAE. You will conduct site inspections, develop and implement HSE policies, and integrate safety into planning with project teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's/ diploma in a relevant field, 5+ years of experience, CSP/NEBOSH, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; CSP/NEBOSH or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify health, safety and environmental hazards.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with regulations and standards.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend hazard control measures.
• Organize and conduct safety training for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to integrate HSE into planning and execution.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
• Ensure employees have access to and use PPE correctly.
• Advise on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in projects.
