Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an HSE Coordinator to protect people and the environment across industrial and gas operations. You will implement the HSE management system, ensure UAE regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP/JSA), incident investigations, training delivery, and emergency preparedness. A Bachelor’s degree and NEBOSH IGC are required, with UAE driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 internal or lead auditor certification preferred.
• Hands-on HSE experience in high-hazard environments and UAE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve HSE management systems in line with ISO standards and UAE regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP/JSA) and establish ALARP controls.
• Monitor cylinder handling, gas systems and labeling to ensure safe operations.
• Lead incident investigations (RCA, 5-Why, Fishbone) and CAPA tracking.
• Deliver HSE trainings, toolbox talks and maintain training records.
• Develop and exercise emergency response plans and mock drills with authorities.
• Track emissions, waste disposal and environmental performance.
• Maintain IMS documentation and support audits.
