Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced HSE professional for major infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. Under supervision, you will support tunneling, viaduct and rail work, ensure compliance with ES&H standards and permit-to-work processes while investigating incidents and hazards.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering or related safety discipline, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, and track record on large-scale tunneling or rail projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in major infrastructure construction projects.
• Mandatory experience in tunneling works (TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or similar).
• Previous experience in viaduct/elevated structure construction is advantageous.
• Previous experience in high-speed rail, railway, metro, or rail infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and hazard identification techniques.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
