Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced HSE professional for our Dubai site to ensure ES&H compliance on major infrastructure projects. You will contribute to developing safety programs and oversee hazardous conditions, training, and incident investigations.

Minimum 7 years HSE experience, with tunneling and rail project exposure. On-site role based in Dubai, with global support and robust safety culture at the core.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years HSE experience on major infrastructure construction projects.
• Mandatory tunneling experience (TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or similar).
• Experience in Viaduct/Elevated Structure construction is advantageous.
• Previous experience in High-Speed Rail, Railway, Metro, or Rail infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
• Proficiency in incident investigation and hazard identification techniques.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures.
• Assists in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area.
• Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
• Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards.
• Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs.

Job Description

Additional Information

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).

• OSHA Safety Certification.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
