Job summary

APT Global Marine Services LLC seeks a proactive HSE professional to conduct inspections, develop safety protocols, and lead training across high-risk environments in Ras Al Khaimah. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous safety improvements.

The ideal candidate has NEBOSH/IOSH certification with 3-5 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills to educate a diverse workforce. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is required.
• 3-5 years of HSE experience in high-risk industries such as construction or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and their practical application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of workplace environments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Develop and implement safety protocols tailored to specific industries and communicate them clearly to all employees.
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Facilitate safety training sessions and workshops for staff on best practices in health, safety and environmental management.
• Collaborate with site management to develop action plans for improving safety performance and mitigating risks.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety policies and adjust them to changing regulations or standards.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on current HSE laws and regulations to keep the organization proactive.
• Participate in safety audits and assessments for continuous improvement of safety standards.
