Job summary

Mace is seeking an Assistant HSE Engineer to support the HSW team on a large mixed-use regeneration project in Abu Dhabi. You will promote Safety First, apply local health and safety rules, and help create safe, inclusive and high‑performing project environments.

You will coordinate inspections, audits and KPI reporting, assist with budgets and risk mitigation, and collaborate with designers, contractors and client teams to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• HSW experience with strong industry interest.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams on construction projects.
• Ability to analyze safety data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of HSW policies and guidance across the project.
• Coordinate inspection and audit schedules aligned with ISO/compliance reviews.
• Analyze reports and KPIs to identify safety improvements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to deliver project safety outcomes.
• Lead integrated teams to achieve programme KPIs.
