Job summary

Green Stone Landscaping is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to lead safety on UAE infrastructure and utility projects. You will develop and maintain a Site HSE Management Plan, conduct site inspections, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with UAE laws.

You will deliver toolbox talks, lead investigations, train staff, review subcontractor plans, and be the primary contact for regulatory bodies, producing regular performance reports for management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE Engineering, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering (with HSE certification).
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement a comprehensive Site HSE Management Plan for infrastructure and underground utility projects.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits, focusing on trench safety, heavy equipment operations, and confined space entry.
• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) for all project activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE local and federal HSE laws and regulations.
• Facilitate ADOSH practitioner course implementation and maintain records.
• Lead investigation and reporting of site-related incidents and near-misses.
• Deliver toolbox talks and conduct regular HSE induction training for site staff.
• Review and approve subcontractor HSE plans and monitor their ongoing compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external HSE regulatory bodies.
• Prepare regular HSE performance reports for management and clients.
