Job summary

Innovo Group is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across land infrastructure and offshore works. You will protect workers, the public, and the environment while managing risk on complex projects in demanding sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and NEBOSH certification, with 5–8 years of relevant experience, including Abu Dhabi exposure, and the ability to operate in varied weather and shift conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Engineering, Safety, or similar).
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and enforcing HSE policies and procedures for major land infrastructure and marine works.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on construction sites and offshore platforms to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
  • Deliver safety training programs focusing on hazard identification, PPE usage, and emergency response.
  • Manage environmental monitoring programs including water/soil contamination checks and air quality monitoring.
  • Support incident reporting and documentation, ensuring timely resolution of safety concerns.
  • Monitor marine traffic and safety during marine construction to minimize collisions or incidents.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of sites, equipment, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead safety workshops and toolbox talks to promote safe work practices for land-based and marine environments.

Role Purpose

Ensure that all safety, health, and environmental regulations are effectively implemented and adhered to across construction and operational activities.Avital role in protecting workers, the public, and the environment while minimizing the risks associated with complex infrastructure projects, both on land and at sea.

Key Accountabilities
  • Assistin the development and enforcement of HSE policies and procedures on major land infrastructure and marine works.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on both construction sites and offshore platforms, ensuring workerscomplied withsafety guidelines and regulations.
  • Carryout safety training programs for site personnel, focusing on hazard identification, PPE usage, and emergency response.
  • Manage environmental monitoring programs, including water and soil contamination checks, air quality monitoring, and hazardous material disposal.
  • Support incident reporting and documentation, ensuringtimelyresolution of all safety concerns.
  • Monitor marine traffic and safety duringmarine construction worksto minimize collisions and accidents.
  • Responsible for regular audits and inspections of the site, equipment, and operational procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • conduct safety workshops, toolbox talks, and environmental awareness sessions to equip workers with the knowledge tooperatesafely in both land-based and marine environments.

Experience
  • 5 - 8 years relevant working experienceespecially in land and marine infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to communicate in multi languages asrequiredfor thelabours
  • Abu Dhabi experience isa must.
  • Ability to work in all outside weather and site conditions, including shift work within a manual/workshop environment.
  • Ability to accept direction and complete work independently, demonstrating confidence and conviction with the ability to always intervene.
