Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of HSE engineering experience in construction.
• UAE experience mandatory.
• NEBOSH IGC mandatory.
• ADOSH/OSHAD certification mandatory or eligible.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs across operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and international standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety observations (JSA/JHA).
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports.
• Monitor PTW, LOTO, confined space, hot work, height work, and lifting operations.
• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety trainings.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and environmental compliance.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and statistics.
• Coordinate emergency drills; liaise with clients and authorities.
• Promote a positive safety culture; support ISO 45001/14001 systems.

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, or related discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant HSE Engineering experience in construction.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
• ADOSH/OSHAD Practitioner Certification – mandatory (or eligibility to obtain, if applicable).
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
