Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks an experienced HSE Engineer to implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental standards across high-rise tower construction projects. You will ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and company HSE policies from design through handover.
Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, incident investigations, permit-to-work oversight, and KPI reporting.

As a HSE Engineer, you will be responsible for Implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards across high-rise tower construction projects. Ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and company HSE policies from design through handover.
Implement and monitor the project HSE Management System, plans, and procedures on site
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to identify and mitigate hazards
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare root cause analysis and corrective action reports
Review and enforce compliance with permit-to-work systems (hot work, work at height, confined space, lifting operations)
Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance and compliance with project-specific safety plans
Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defence, and other regulatory authorities on inspections and approvals
Maintain HSE documentation, statistics, and KPI reporting (LTI, TRIR, near-miss trends) for management review
Conduct HSE inductions, training sessions, and awareness programs for site personnel
Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and evacuation procedures
Ensure proper use of PPE, safe scaffolding, crane, and lifting operations, and fall protection systems on high-rise structures
Liaise with project management, consultants, and supervision teams to embed HSE into planning and execution
