Job summary

Lötschberg General Contracting LLC (LGCC) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified HSE Engineer to join its project team. You will implement HSE policies, conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to uphold UAE health, safety and environmental standards across project sites.

The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH certification, have 3–4 years of HSE experience in construction, and be able to deliver toolbox talks and inductions, investigate incidents, and coordinate corrective

• 3–4 years of relevant HSE experience in construction.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• TAQA or ADDC competency is preferred.
• Previous TAQA projects experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety requirements.
• Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Excellent communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.

This role is ideal for safety professionals with experience in the construction industry who are committed to maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across project sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations, conducting inspections and audits, and promoting a strong safety culture. Candidates with TAQA project experience and ADDC competency will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures across project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and project safety standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure employees follow safe work practices and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions while coordinating corrective measures.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.

Requirements
