Job summary

Lotschberg General contracting Co .L.L.C in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HSE Engineer/Officer to implement and monitor HSE policies at project sites, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and TAQA standards.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, coordinating with subcontractors and client representatives. A NEBOSH certificate and 2 years UAE experience are required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as HSE Engineer/Officer.
• Previous TAQA project experience mandatory/preferred.
• Experience in electrical/infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• UAE experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company requirements, and project safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety documentation.
• Monitor safe working practices for electrical, excavation, cable laying, cable pulling, and other infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding HSE requirements.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA project safety requirements and standards.
• Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for employees and workers.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work procedures at site.
