Job summary

Royal International Construction is seeking an HSE Assistant Officer to assist in maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance at our Dubai-based sites. You will help monitor activities, enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and keep accurate safety records.

With at least 2 years in HSE within construction and a Diploma, you will contribute to trainings, incident reporting and risk assessments to foster a safer workplace. IOSH is mandatory; NEBOSH qualification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/College degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in construction.
• IOSH certification is mandatory.
• NEBOSH certificate is advantageous.
• IMS certificate and auditing experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the HSE department in implementing policies and site regulations.
• Monitor site activities for safety compliance and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions.
• Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to staff and workers.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports and safety records.
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

Summary

The HSE Assistant Officer is responsible to assist and ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance at the construction site. This role involves assisting the department in monitoring site activities, enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring all workers adhere to HSE regulations. The HSE Assistant Officer will also assist in safety training, incident reporting, and risk assessments to create a safe working environment and prevent workplace hazards.

Responsibilities

Assisting and Helping HSE Department in:

• Implementation and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE within the construction industry.

Qualification

• Diploma /College Degree is advantage.

Certifications

Other Requirements
