Job summary

Egis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. The role offers hands-on experience across HR operations, onboarding, and employee engagement.

You will update records, assist with onboarding, prepare reports, and support HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is pursuing or has completed a degree in HR, psychology, or business administration, with strong MS Office skills and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word, Excel (including V‑Lookup), and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Basic understanding of HR practices and policies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑oriented approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee administration tasks, including updating employee records in databases and filing HR documents.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
• Help maintain HR files and contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations
• Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement events, training sessions, and special HR initiatives
• Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including general office duties as needed
• Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures
