Job summary

Logicom Distribution in Dubai seeks an experienced Presales technical resource to design, position, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across HPE Compute, Storage, AI, Virtualization, Backup, and DR. You will work with sales teams, partners, customers, and HPE teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as Pre-Sales Engineer in HPE or similar products.
• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure presales or solution architecture.
• Proven ability to design and size complex data center and AI infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end HPE infrastructure solutions across Pro Liant, Synergy, MSA, Alletra, Store Once/Store Ever and AI/GPU platforms.
• Architect solutions for AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM inference, GPU acceleration, VDI, HPC and data-intensive workloads.
• Translate requirements and tenders into technically compliant HPE architectures and BOQs.
• Prepare BOMs/BOQs using HPE OCA, i Quote, and sizing tools.
• Architect virtualization solutions using Hyper-V, HPE VM Essentials, and KVM environments.
• Design backup, DR, and cyber-resilience solutions with Zerto, Commvault, Store Once and tape technologies.
• Develop HA, DR, migration, modernization and infrastructure refresh architectures.
• Prepare technical proposals, diagrams, compliance matrices, and customer-facing documentation.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with HPE and vendor teams to resolve constraints and product availability.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Presales technical resource to design, position, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across HPE Compute, Storage, AI, Virtualization, Backup, and Disaster Recovery technologies. The role will work closely with sales teams, partners, customers, and HPE technical teams to understand business and application requirements and translate them into scalable, resilient, high-performance, and commercially competitive solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end HPE infrastructure solutions covering HPE Pro Liant, Synergy, MSA, Alletra, Store Once, Store Ever, and AI/GPU platforms.
• Architect solutions for AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM inference, GPU acceleration, VDI, HPC, and data-intensive workloads.
• Translate customer requirements, RFPs, RFQs, and tender specifications into technically compliant HPE architectures and BOQs.
• Prepare and validate detailed BOMs/BOQs using HPE OCA, i Quote, sizing tools, and configuration platforms.
• Architect virtualization solutions using Hyper-V, HPE VM Essentials, and KVM-based environments.
• Design backup, DR, and cyber-resilience solutions involving Zerto, Commvault, HPE Store Once, and tape technologies.
• Develop HA, DR, migration, modernization, consolidation, and infrastructure refresh architectures.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution diagrams, compliance matrices, presentations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, partner enablement sessions, solution reviews, and customer presentations.
• Work closely with HPE and technology vendor technical teams to resolve configuration constraints, lifecycle issues, compatibility questions, and product availability.
• Support sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from requirement gathering through technical validation and proposal closure.
• Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, redundancy, security, supportability, and commercial competitiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as Pre-Sales Engineer in HPE or similar products.
• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure presales or solution architecture.
• Proven ability to design and size complex data center and AI infrastructure solutions.
• Good understanding of GPU architecture, AI workload sizing, storage performance, and high-speed networking.
• Strong understanding of HPE products, configuration tools, and support offerings.
• Excellent presentation, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, tenders, and technical engagements simultaneously.
• HPE certifications such as HPE ASE / Master ASE are highly desirable.
• AI, Zerto, Commvault, or other relevant certifications with demo/POC skills are an advantage.
• Experience working with distributors, system integrators, or enterprise customers is preferred.
