Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Runner to join our team. The role entails managing housekeeping stores, receiving and storing stock, and delivering guest items to rooms with the highest standards of service.

Candidates should have a senior high school diploma or equivalent, a hospitality-related diploma is a plus, and at least one year of experience in luxury hotel housekeeping. Experience in the Middle East and with HotSOS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Senior high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational Diploma in Hospitality is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury hotel.
• At least 1 year housekeeping experience in luxury hotels.
• Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Prior experience with HotSOS is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all guest requests are delivered promptly with proper presentation and standards.
• Maintain a clear checklist with request details, timing, and guest feedback.
• Offer assistance to guests when requested or needed.
• Ensure all requests comply with Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai standards.
• Issue items from Housekeeping stores and keep stores tidy and organized per FLHSS&E standards.
• Remove soiled linens and towels from the pantry and hand over to Linen Runner or dispose via Linen Chute.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Housekeeping in Dubai, Housekeeping Runner is responsible for Housekeeping Stores, receiving the stock, storing in ideal place, notify Supervisor of low stock levels. Floor Pantries maintenance, refilling of guest supplies and making deliveries in guest rooms such as Extra Bed , Baby Cot in a timely manner with the highest quality along with Mandarin Oriental Standards. Must have a good communications skill as well as the ability to pull and push heavy loads etc.

As a Housekeeping Runner, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Ensure all the special guest requests are delivered in a timely manner with proper presentation and standard as demonstrated by Housekeeping supervisory colleagues during initial training
• All the guest requests are written in check list stating, from whom request received, time of receiving and what time it was given and guest feedback if guest present
• Offer assistance to guests when requested or needed
• All requests delivery should comply with Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, Forbes , LQA , LRA ,LQE standards
• Issue store items from Housekeeping stores and to ensure all stores are neatly arranged and maintained according to FLHSS&E standards
• Remove all soiled linens and towels from the pantry and handover to Linen Runner or dispose it Linen Chute.

As a Housekeeping Runner, weexpectfrom you:

• Senior High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational Diploma in Hospitality related subject is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a luxury hotel environment.
• A minimum of 1 year Housekeeping experience in luxury hotels
• Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Prior experience with HotSOS is an advantage.
