Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have completed a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Hotel Management.
• Interest in Housekeeping operations, luxury hospitality and people leadership.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Russian, French or German is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Interest in operational planning, team supervision and quality management.
• Flexibility and adaptability across Housekeeping functions.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across key Housekeeping functions including guest rooms, public areas, linen and laundry operations.
• Support the Housekeeping leadership team in coordinating daily departmental activities and ensuring smooth operations.
• Learn and apply luxury hospitality cleanliness, presentation and quality standards.
• Assist with room inspections and quality checks to meet established standards.
• Develop understanding of scheduling, task allocation, productivity and operational planning.
• Support guest requests and personalised service experiences as part of the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic amp motivated Housekeeping Management Trainee to join our team at Banyan Tree Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for hospitality graduates or students nearing completion of their studies who are looking to develop their leadership potential gain hands-on experience in luxury hotel operations amp build a strong foundation for a future management career in hospitality. Working alongside our experienced Housekeeping leadership team you will gain valuable exposure to daily departmental operations quality standards team coordination amp the attention to detail that defines exceptional luxury hospitality. Through a combination of practical experience mentorship amp structured learning you will develop an understanding of what it takes to lead a successful Housekeeping operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Gain hands-on experience across key Housekeeping functions including guest rooms public areas linen amp laundry operations
• Support the Housekeeping leadership team in coordinating daily departmental activities amp ensuring smooth operations
• Learn amp apply luxury hospitality cleanliness presentation amp quality standards
• Assist with room inspections quality checks amp ensuring guest rooms meet established standards
• Develop an understanding of team scheduling task allocation productivity amp operational planning
• Support the coordination of guest requests special arrangements amp personalised service experiences
• Gain exposure to inventory management linen control supplies amp cost-conscious operational practices
• Learn how to manage guest feedback resolve operational challenges amp maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with Front Office Engineering amp other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
• Participate in departmental briefings training sessions amp team development activities
• Shadow Housekeeping leaders to develop supervisory communication amp decision-making skills
• Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency service quality amp the overall guest experience

We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• A genuine interest in Housekeeping operations, luxury hospitality & people leadership.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn & enthusiasm for developing a career in hotel management.
• Good communication skills in English are essential.
• Proficiency in Russian, French or German would be an asset.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail & a proactive approach to problem-solving.
